‘The Gen Z Goliath’ Bradley Marongo has announced his return home after traveling over 378 kilometers to meet his mother Monica Marongo. Bradley was accompanied by his manager Director Trevor among other individuals. In his Instagram account, Bradley shared a heart touching video hugging his mom and reuniting with her. The visibly happy mother is heard saying “karibu nyumbani”, welcoming his son home wearing a big smile.
In the recent weeks, Marongo has been in the spotlight due to his towering stature. The publicity saw him secure multiple endorsement deals including partnerships with a car company and Bata shoe manufacturers. However, this newfound fame led to concerns from his mother Monica Marongo, who revealed in a previous interview that her son has become increasingly distant. “Bradley no longer picks up my calls and is very busy with his managers,” she lamented, saying that he failed to meet her during her recent trip to Nairobi.
Monica said that the hustle and bustle of city life seem to have overshadowed their family bond. “I was told he was given a house and three months’ rent, but I do not have a place to call home,” she stated, urging her son to remember his roots. A family member echoed this sentiment, advising Bradley to support his mother and ensure her comfort as he navigates his burgeoning career.
Public figures have also weighed in on the Gen Z Goliath situation. Comedian and politician Felix Oduor, popularly known as Jalang’o, offered guidance to Bradley on how to maximize his success. “He was in the right place at the right time, and brands are now after him,” Jalang’o said, urging the young star to be savvy with his newfound fame.

Advice to Bradley Marongo Gen Z Goliath
“I hope those managing his brand can secure more sustainable contracts. We don’t want to see Bradley back on the streets. He needs to understand how big his brand is and make sure he’s making money. Any deal that comes his way, he should take,” Jalang’o added.
Radio presenter Jacquey ‘Wilbroda’ Nyaminde echoed similar advice, cautioning Bradley about the fleeting nature of fame. She urged him to stay grounded and not let the excitement cloud his judgment, citing examples of other previous sensations who have faded from the spotlight. “You will be very sorry if you don’t keep your feet on the ground,” she warned.
Wilbroda further warned Bradley Marongo not to let material gifts and fame cloud his judgment. “Hutu tu suti anashonewa na viatu ananunuliwa should not excite him,” she said.
She also urged Bradley to reconcile with his mother, who recently claimed he no longer takes her calls.
“Kama kuna mahali mama yako alikukosea, this is the time kuleta mama yako karibu. Huyu mama ndio akikuekelea mkono akuombee, Baraka zinaanza kukumiminikia,” Wilbroda advised.
