This followed an attack on Kebaso by unknown assailants during a public participation forum at Bomas of Kenya. The forum discussed the special motion seeking to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Alleged Assassination Plan Revealed
The spokesperson for Morara Kebaso’s team provided shocking details at a press conference. According to the team, the person behind the threats shared a video outlining an assassination strategy. The plan targeted Kebaso at the Inject Party headquarters, and the execution date was set for Saturday, September 5.
“We are here on behalf of Morara Kebaso’s family to update the public on his current health following the attack at Bomas of Kenya. Goons severely injured him during the forum,” the spokesperson said. They added, “In a tragic turn of events, a credible threat to his life has surfaced, detailing the exact strategy, location, and date of the attack.”
Morara Kebaso’s absence from the press briefing was a deliberate move to protect him. His team expressed deep concern for his safety, stating that his family had prioritized his protection. Following the release of the video, calls for action have grown even louder.
“We take these threats very seriously. His absence is directly linked to the credible threat against his life and that of his family. We will invite the media when they are ready to share further updates,” the spokesperson concluded.
