How I Met Your Mother (2005 – 2014)

This situation comedy about Ted Mosby’s journey to finding his soulmate, How I Met Your Mother, features a mysterious referenced woman, only revealed in the show’s final season. She is the Mother of the two children Ted is narrating the story to. The sitcom includes his co-stars Robin, Lily, Barney, and Marshall, along with many other supporting characters and acts.

On set, ‘Apartment 4C,’ Ted and Marshall’s Upper West Side New York City apartment initially features a simple brown leather couch and two; red and brown armchairs. These are strategically positioned at the center of the room.

The group of friends spend a lot of memorable moments in the apartment, often lounging on or around the couch and talking about or tackling various life experiences and crises. Later, the couch is changed to one with a red-orange color but still maintains its central position in both the set and the script.

Friends (1994 – 2004)

If How I Met Your Mother isn’t for you, then you are probably going to love Friends.

Friends is a sitcom about six friends, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, and Joey, who are navigating life as young adults while also continuing to grow up.

  1. In the opening introduction video, a vintage orange couch is showcased outdoors in front of a fountain. A lit orange lampshade is standing next to it. The Big Bang Theory (2007 – 2019)
