Comedian Mulamwah Mourns Mother’s Passing After Sudden Illness

Popular Kenyan comedian David Oyando, famously known as Mulamwah, is grieving the loss of his stepmother, who passed away following a brief illness. The tragic news was shared by the comedian on Sunday, October 13. Mulamwah’s stepmother, who raised him after his biological mother died, passed away during surgery at a hospital in Kitale.

Mulamwah Pays Tribute to His Stepmother

In a heartfelt message on social media, Mulamwah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the woman who had been like a mother to him. He described how his stepmother took him in and raised him after his own mother passed away when he was a young boy.

“R.I.P MUM 💔. She always raised me as her own. We lost her on the operation table while she was being operated on following a short illness,” Mulamwah wrote.

Mulamwah has revealed that the burial for his late stepmother will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at their family home in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County. The burial site is located behind Bikeke Health Centre, and the comedian has called on his fans and followers to keep his family in their prayers during this difficult time.

In his post, Mulamwah shared his grief openly and requested support from his online community. “Burial will be on this Saturday, October 19, in our Kitale home. Keep us in your prayers at this time of need,” he wrote.

Ruth K Offers Comfort and Encouragement

Mulamwah’s wife, Ruth K, expressed her support for her husband during this tragic period. In a touching message, she reassured Mulamwah of her love and strength. “May her soul rest peacefully 😭🕊️. We are together in this, babe. Continue being strong as you have always been❤️,” she wrote.

Following the heartbreaking announcement, Mulamwah’s social media was flooded with messages of condolence from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities. The overwhelming support has shown how much the comedian is loved by his community.
