Autopsy Reveals Grim Murder of Taxi Driver Victoria Mumbua Muloki

An autopsy on Victoria Mumbua Muloki, the taxi driver who went missing and later found murdered, has revealed horrifying details surrounding her death. The findings suggest a brutal and deliberate assault that has left the community shaken.

The autopsy, conducted by Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor, uncovered key insights into Muloki’s violent death. Muloki suffered multiple blows from a blunt object before being strangled to death. Dr. Oduor stated that the evidence points to a deliberate and brutal attack. “The injuries suggest she fought back before the assault overwhelmed her,” he revealed. This latest discovery offers critical information to the ongoing murder investigation.

Investigators are now conducting further tests on additional samples, hoping to uncover more evidence.

Suspect’s Confession Leads Police to Stolen Vehicles

Edwin Ng’etich, the prime suspect in Muloki’s murder, has confessed to leading authorities to locations where stolen vehicles were hidden. The police recovered five stolen motor vehicles in areas such as Mt. Elgon, Butere, Uasin Gishu, and Nakuru counties. Authorities suspect that Ng’etich not only stole these vehicles but also abducted and murdered the owners.

Ng’etich now faces a series of serious charges, including two counts of murder and robbery with violence. Police believe the stolen vehicles were used in various illegal activities, including drug trafficking and human smuggling.

Ng’etich Details the Harrowing Crime

The grim details of Muloki’s murder are chilling. In his confession, Ng’etich explained how he requested a taxi ride from Victoria Mumbua Muloki in Mombasa on September 27. During the journey, he attacked her violently, striking her repeatedly before tying her up in the back seat of the car.

“She begged for her life when we reached Kibwezi,” Ng’etich admitted.

He then confessed to strangling her and continuing to drive with her body in the car. Eventually, Ng’etich drove to Lari, Kiambu County, where he disposed of Muloki’s remains in a thicket.

Ng’etich’s confession did not end there. After abandoning Muloki’s body, he drove the stolen vehicle to Nakuru. It was here that he was apprehended by police. His arrest led to the recovery of the stolen car, along with other critical evidence connecting him to the crime.

Ongoing Investigation as Police Revisit Crime Scenes

Investigators are now combing through Ng’etich’s confession to verify its accuracy. Police are revisiting all crime scenes involved in the case, searching for additional forensic evidence and reviewing CCTV footage to ensure the strongest possible case against the suspect.

Meanwhile, Government pathologist Dr. Oduor and his team team continue to examine Muloki’s remains, while homicide detectives work to unravel the full extent of Ng’etich’s criminal operations.
